Siteground is one of the leading web hosting service providers worldwide, with their offices in Sofia, Stara Zagora, Plovdiv and Madrid. With the company expanding and growing quickly, daily workflow at their office suggested designing fluid open spaces, were communication on all levels is happening spontaneously.
The client, expressed their desire for colourful spaces, which lead us to design within a very lively colours scheme. To serve all their employee’s needs, the office was fully equipped with different elements of FUNKT custom made furniture.
design
The open planning, mixed functions and explicit color scheme, reflect the dynamic corporate identity of the client. The game element is a core part in the working areas and all the furnishing elements are contextually designed for the project. A main feature of the project is the contrast between the exposed concrete, raw MDF, bright colors and massive timber. The service areas are united in an internal core, leaving the periphery free for the working areas, lit by natural light and with direct visual connection to the exterior.

Good acoustics are very important for the comfort of employees. In order to reduce the noise of voices and echo in the working environment, the Pyramid lamps, as we like to call them at FUNKT, were designed to diffuse the sound waves.
relax
The Play Area or the “recreational zone” is a signature space for all fun-loving people. The relaxing zones are very important for the cool vibe of the office and they are the most loved spaces of the employees as usual.
Next to the play zones is located the large meeting room – it is divided by a folding acoustic system.
