The client’s idea was clear from the start – that the interior of the apartment should comfortably accommodate the lifestyle of the couple in which music, movies and books occupy an important place.
The open plan of the entrance hall and the living room mixes light and dark wood, furniture and design libraries, artistic lighting with original lamps, modern audiovisual technology and a custom cinema wall screen with street art. The couple’s passion for cinema determines other elements in the interior too, like the ceiling lined with a special acoustic coating.
The mobile library is made of impregnated solid oak wood. It is completely hanging, attached only to the two metal wheels on a metal rail. The door hidden beneath leads to a storage room. In the lower part of the bookcase there is a separate wine rack.
The custom table and bench in the dining area are also made of oak. Their legs are detachable and are fastened with visible bolted connections.
The bedroom is spacious, with fitted wardrobes and an adjoining bathroom. Following suit from the other room, the bed frame and shelves are made of oak. A visible concrete ceiling, a self-leveling resin floor and walls completely covered with white mosaic tiles make out the ascetic vision of the bathroom.
